Raising Awareness on Sexual Harassment and POCSO Act for School Girls

Impact
Crest organized an awareness program at Payarnatham Government School and Green Park School to educate school girls about sexual harassment and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. Over 500 students participated in the sessions, which aimed to empower young girls with knowledge about their rights, how to recognize and report abuse, and the legal protections available to them under the POCSO Act.
By educating young girls early on, the program aims to prevent incidents of sexual harassment and abuse. Informed students are better prepared to protect themselves and their peers.
